Before on Amazon, you would have to click through your charity's link to donate a portion of the purchase.  NOW you can link your account to a charity at smile.amazon.com.  Once you do, you purchase on that page, and .5% of your purchase goes to your charity choice.  Pretty sweet for those of us who forget about clicking through a charity site, but use amazon often.  So go choose a charity!

Amazon smile is great. I've actually got an addon for my firefox that automatically sends me to smile instead of vanilla amazon, so I never accidentally buy something without being on smile.
