Octo set up server #17 as pl_cactuscanyon, a robot destruction beta map.

What's a Beta Map?

It's a payload map, which means BLU pushes a cart while RED tries to prevent them from succeeding.

Since Valve want us to email them feedback for beta maps, this thread is here to collect any you would like to provide Valve, the Newbs admins, or the community.

I've only played on it for 5 minutes, but it seems to be very basic as it is. I think I'll wait for the developers to add more to the map before I play it again.

From the few rounds ive played, the first map seems to be heavily weighted in red's favor, which seems a little off to me. I was never able to see the second one, so i cant give feedback on that.  Red seems to have a fair number of good sentry positions with few flanking options against them , And i feel it could use a few alternate routes throug a few areas. Im curious to see what Valve does with the map.

It just feels like any other payload map.
I haven't played a lot in this map, but for the few times I have, RED has always won. Like the comment before me, I think the map is a bit too easy to defend (or maybe BLU was just playing badly?).
