Good god that was painful when I ran into him. I expected an easy kill since it looked like he was just W+M1ing at a distance, and that was a horrible mistake; ran facefirst at him, meatshot, double jump over his head, and I expected to land another shot in his back and finish him off, but I was lit up and airblasted during my jump, and axe'd when I landed.

I have to agree with Crap, although I personally would vote for Striker, Pyro is such a varied class it's hard to judge.

We should throw Leetberry/RedCross on the list for his Beanie Pyro Axing Antics.

Fuzzy was one of the PL server spy mains, and was good at it, now he plays pyro and is good at it, I am afraid of when he starts going demoman or sniper.

There are a lot of aspects to pyro, surprisingly considering it's supposedly the "w+m1" class, so I personally couldn't pick a single "best" pyro.

I also think more than some of the other classes mentioned, we have a lot more really good and standout pyros and I haven't even ever played with a few of the people mentioned (or at least not when they were pyro),

I'm not really sure how to rate people for this. I mean all pyro does is W+M1 right? Heh anyways.. I like how Crap broke it down because.. for being, on the surface, the simplest class.. really it has the most variances as to how it's played.

As good as I'm sure Striker is, I just haven't played with him enough to know, so I'd have to say as far as using the backburner that G Marmoset is the nastiest.. he manages to stick to the goal of the map.. work with his team.. and still make me rage at him on steamchat (sorry marmo hehe). That being said, as far as using the backburner for how I think it was designed (to be sorta sneaky and spy-ish and dispense flaming backstabs) I'd say Medic Lobster.. who can manage to de-cloak right behind a team and burn them all to shit.. and then get away with 2 health only to turn a corner to a friendly Engy and spycheck both the spies that were being ignored by the other 4 teammates standing nearby.

As for regular pyro.. I dunno how you even rate this? Most deadly? Most annoying? Most helpful? I mean really.. the pyro that dies keeping a heavy or a demo or a soldier from destroying a sentry gun.. is more helpful than the one that kills the rest of their team in the meantime.. but clearly isnt as deadly, and probably not as clutch as the pyro that reflects that Kritz'd rocket back at the krizting medic.. etc.. I'll let other people voice their opinions on the non-backburner stuff.. It's just entirely too varied to give a best.. it seems there's people that are better at different aspects of it, but yeah..

And thx Crap.. i do like me some flare gun.. Especially on that dirty f'n scout as he runs for health.
