A couple things - the servers are running a newer version of jump helper which has two differences from the old one, it has "hardcore mode" and the capture points are blocked. The captures being blocked means that you can't open the bonus levels on some maps which is really annoying (jump_yucca and propel for ex.). Hardcore mode just disables jump helper (no health or ammo regen) and displays a message when you finish a map, you can do the same thing with !ammo and !health (or !jh_ammo/health) commands. No reason for hardcore mode except to show off.
So can the servers revert to the old JH?
Also instant respawn, im not sure if its part of jh or just a server setting/separate mod, but i dont see the point of having it in a jump server (where no one dies). and it seems like you cant find items in servers that have instant spawn. So just a normal short spawn time would be good, like 5 seconds.
and the lag, it seems like the server almost never hits more than 60-61 updates/s (and very often lower) which makes it seem like its a 60 FPS server (in TF2 that runs on 66ticks). Was hoping it could be upgraded, I dont think it would cost much... to get like a 100fps server. It could be something else, like vsync for servers... since I dont really get why server companies would sell a 60fps server for a 66fps game.
lots of pubbers wont notice this lag because they have high interp settings but most good players/anyone who plays competitve will
and theres no reason that a jump server has to lag (not many players, not fighting each other, enclosed maps = good framerate)
Also Newbs #2.5 has bad interp settings. an admin needs to run the command "sv_maxupdaterate 66" (OCTO!)

The servers are now back up but running on a different machine than before, it should be a little faster than the last one, but its probably not different enough to actually notice a difference. Its running a newer version of the jump helper that GNCMatt has adjusted for the cp stuff.
