Also i think i may have come up with a really good plan on how to spend valentine's day with my gf in a meaningful way that isnt retarded. Basically i decided that the way to go would be BAKING! i told her we should totally look up recipes for a cake, pie, fruit tarts, or whatever and we could have fun making something that we can enjoy.

SO. I figured i could ask here and see if anyone had suggestions for easy-to-make pastries and baked goods, or recipes if you have any that you're willing to share. Also if you have more involved recipes but would still like to share dont be afraid to do so, i'm sure someone (if not myself) would like to give it a try.

Alton Brown Overnight Cinnamon Rolls - We made these once and they were fun and really good. They take a while (have to let them raise), but they're fairly easy.

Molten Lava Cakes - I've never actually made this recipe, but we've had similar cakes at restaurants and they're delicious. It's a good date dessert. Paula Deen knows her stuff, so I'm sure it's a good one.

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies - The best chocolate chip cookie recipe, in my opinion. The espresso (or coffee if you can't find espresso powder) really enhances the chocolate. They're nice, chewy cookies. Yum!

Oh, nothing actually lol. My gf ended up having to work over the weekend which kinda sucked but it wasnt a big deal. I think we're going to bake some stuff this weekend, odds are we might make some spicy chocolate cookies aaand maybe a fruit tart or pie.
