Status for the Chicago servers (#00, #11 - #13)

Hello all --

I came to give an update on the Chicago servers.  Tonight there was a SM update that is causing the Chicago servers to catastrophically fail.  I've tried reinstalling SM, which seems to work, but loading any reasonable number of plugins causes it to crash now.  Given the relatively low usage of those servers I've made the decision to simply retire them.  This includes server 00, 11, 12 and 13.

I've enjoyed having these boxes up for the Newbs community.  It was great when the servers were full, however once Valve made that decision to stick it to the communities, player count dropped and they sat idle quite a bit.  For the past year they've not received the TLC they needed and it was just time for them to retire.

I'll be poking my head in around here still, so this is no goodbye for me, just the Chicago servers.

Sigh..I will miss #11 but I kinda figured it would happen.  I will have to make a special trip to the grocery store so I can pour out a 40 for all my fast respawners....

Thanks, Pack, for hosting the servers for so long. I spent a ton of time on 12, and I really appreciate the time and money you put into them.
