Does anyone know how I can change my forum name so I actually look like I'm in [N]? I got the invite, but now I don't know how to change my name so it looks like I'm in [N]. Please help!

If you're asking how to get the [N] to show up below your name (like the red [N] under my name on the left), see the following thread: http://www.tf2newbs.com/forum/index.php/topic,6922.msg111975.html#msg111975.

I don't know whether you need 50 posts to get the tag (as opposed to 50 posts to see the hidden forum), but you can post a reply in that thread and ask.

Iirc it is 50 for both to get the forum [N].  If you've been accepted you can start using the [N] in steam.
