MAN VS. WILD VS. SURVIVORMAN THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN!!!!

Hello everybody

So as discovery channel enthuasist I love watching shows like mythbusters, Dirty jobs, etc.
But a show that's really got me going to watch discovery lately is Man vs. Wild
But I know alot of people who liked the suvivorman guy so I wanted to see your opinions I'll share my own as well.


Bear Grylls is my vote. Now I know there was that controversy about him faking some stuff but they've cleared that up. He wasn't allowed to perform certain things because the isurance companies wouldn't cover it. I mean the guy does enough crazy shit as it is. Such as jumping into below freezing water in Alaska and showing you how to survivor that when it happens, hunting crazy and exotic animals, reptiles, insects. He's just badass in my opinion. But he has a wife and two sons so he can't be doing something were the certainity of death are over like 30 %. That's just stupid he's supposed to show you how to survive not die.
The one thing I saw was the video where it looked like he had the life vest under his coat when he was on the log going down the rapids and over the waterfall. They explained it later and he was going to do it without it but his crew wouldn't let him for fear of his life.

As far as survivorman goes i mean I guess it's ok but the guy had a beer belly come on you got to be in shape if I'm going to believe you can tell me how to survive in crazy ass places. He's just seems like a boy scout. Where bear grylls was with the british special forces and actual survivalist.


Oh and did anyone see him do that thing with the parachute and the fan on his back and he and his buddy went over mt. everest with those like 75 lbs fan type machines on there backs. That was nuts.

I think Survivorman is more badass, he's out alone for a week, no way to contact anybody. And he builds his own canoe and shit. Bear has an entire damn camera crew with him, and just shows how to...not die.

  well bear shows more than how not to die hes done some crazy shit and shows you how to build things as well. he does have I think one or two people that go with him or are the camera crew and also survival experts.

Yeah, but I personally think that being alone for a week and not dying is better than being with people and not dying.  I guess.
