Luckily when 2008 is over we will be able to have some wonderful wild crab spies hanging on our walls to keep us company.  According to some people the crab spy is a very threatened, endangered species. 

NFreak has spent the past month scouring the Team Fortress 2 landscape in search of the wild crab spy.  He came back with many quality shots of the elusive and easily hunted creatures.

The pictures have been assembled into 12 images, complete with month names and valid 2009 calendar grids. 

 So go ahead, download the calendar, print one out and hang it proudly on your wall.  With your help we can save the crab spies from extinction.  Please always remember that crab spies are harmless and clumsy creatures.   So please try not to stab or shoot them as they go about doing whatever it is they do.  Oh, as an added bonus the calendar includes miniture avatar images of players from the TF2 Newbs on their birthdays :)

So.. a little update on me. a lot of people ask “Jib where have you gone? Our original stats leader? The crit rocket monger you are…” I’m a DJ and i have 3 real jobs. : / wtf right? Not quite sure how it happened but while i’m amassing a small fortune i’m looosinggg my mind :P so.. i said. F work. okay? I said, you schedules me less next month! I took 7 days off, which coinciding with the othe days I have off gives me 13 days off in a row next month.. I work 7 days TOTAL next month and only DJ 1 gig.. for comparison this month I work roughly 23 days and on my days off dj’d 3 major events.. OMGZ.. jib’s taking over.

Ever felt the need to warn others of the danger of entering your room or office? What better way to show that a doorway is being actively camped than with these plush stickies. With this tutorial you too can build your very own Plush Demoman Stickies by following the 14 mostly easy steps.

Huge thanks go out to {TF2F} Dingo for the excellent step by step break down detailing exactly what to do in order to have proper sticky goodness.

The instructions are complete with pictures to illustrate what each stage should look like. So get out your felt and your sewing needles and get at it. If you have any questions about any of the steps please leave a comment and Dingo (and maybe myself) will try to help.

Here is an example of one of the simple 14 steps:

Step 9) Turn the strip yellow side out and fit it over
your sphere. It should fit snugly over the seam
highlighted in step 5. (If you didn’t use a hidden stitch in
step 5, this will cover it) sew along the edges of the strip.

Personally, I use a whip stitch, but a blanket stitch
would also work well.

The parts list is:

4 sheets of craft felt. Either:
Blue Team (Light Blue, Dark Blue, White, Yellow)
Red Team (Bright Red, Burgundy, Dark Grey, Yellow)

Thread to match each sheet of felt
Polyfill
Sewing Stuff (Needles, Pins, Etc)
